Sand Hill Wins 1st Place at Georgia Movie Academy

On March 17, students from Sand Hill Elementary traveled to the Rylander Theater in Americus, Georgia to take part in the Georgia Movie Academy Awards Day. The SHES team represented Carroll County and West Georgia RESA in the competition. The movie the students directed and made, Saving Maddie, won first place. Their movie will now compete against other movies in the 3­5 Division across the state.
