Central Middle School Hosts Cupcake Chase Race

On Saturday, March 5, Central Middle School held its 4 th annual 5K Road Race and Fun Run. The Central Cupcake Chase registered close to 700 adults and children from the West Georgia area. With the beautiful weather that Saturday provided, over 400 runners came out to support the race. The male winner for 2016 was Anthony Nasser (a 2006 Central High School graduate), and Madeline Potts (a Central High School sophomore) was the female winner. Mrs. Allison Edwards, race coordinator, commented, “I always look forward to the day of the race; it’s one of my favorite days of the school year. It’s awesome to see students, parents, and the community coming together for something fun that is so worthwhile to our school.” The CMS faculty and staff would like to thank all of the community sponsors for continuing to support this important event.
