Mt. Zion Elementary Advanced STEM Club Competes in West Georgia Technology Fair

The Mt. Zion Elementary Advanced STEM Club competed in the West Georgia Technology Fair, Friday, January 22, 2016. The West Georgia Technology Fair is an annual technology competition for students in the West Georgia region. The West Georgia region includes students who attend public schools, private schools, and home­schools in Carroll County, Carrollton City, Coweta County, Fayette County, Griffin­Spalding County, Harris County, Heard County, Meriwether County, and Troup County.

Students attending were: Carter Banister (5th), Nathan Cowart (5th), Katelyn Hindsman (5th), Caleb Morse (5th), Cooper Powell (5th), Nolan Weatherspoon (5th), Noah Williamson (5th), Kade Brown (4th), Mason Jakubiak (4th), Evan Muse (4th), Wendy Villalba (4th), JaiNeil Webster (4th), They were accompanied by their coach, Mrs. Melissa Trippe and her student intern, Courtney Clack.

Nathan Cowart and Mason Jakubiak placed 2nd in the Robotics Competition.
