Bowdon Junior Selected as Semi­Finalist for Governor’s Honors Program

Bowdon High School junior, Griffin Cole, has been selected as a semi­finalist for the Governor’s Honors Program. Griffin will be advancing to the state­level interviews in the area of Communicative Arts. Upon graduation, he plans to attend Berry College or the University of Georgia to become a journalist.

The Governor’s Honors Program Interview Event is by invitation only for state semi­finalists. Students are selected based on their individual performances at the interview event. Finalists will have the opportunity to attend the residential summer program where they attend classes in a specific area of study and participate in a wide variety of leadership and social opportunities.
