Two of Bay Springs’ Middle School students have been selected to the Georgia Allstate Middle School Chorus. On January 21 st , eighth-graders Juliette Stone and Faith Spruell traveled to Rome Middle School where they competed against other middle school students in sight reading, performing a solo, and quality of pitch and rhythm.

Faith Spruell said, “It was a lot easier than the first audition.” Juliette Stone said, “It was very nerve-wracking seeing all the people there to compete for a position.” Some of the songs the ladies performed were “Kyrie Eleison”, “Sanctus”, and “Shenandoah”. Fifteen thousand students tried out, but only 600 made the statewide chorus.
