Mount Zion Middle School FBLA Attends Region 7 Conference

Mount Zion Middle School attended the FBLA Region 7 Leadership Conference at North Paulding High School on January 11, 2016. Out of the ten Eagles who competed, nine finished in the top 5 which earned them a medal and allows them to advance to the FBLA Middle Level State Leadership Conference in Perry, GA next month. Medals were awarded as follows: Bailey Brown placed 1 st in Social Media Concepts and 2 nd in Internet Concepts; Brianna Luallen placed 3 rd in Business Concepts and 5 th in Computer Concepts; Aminata Thiam placed 1 st in Business Concepts and 1 st in Marketing Concepts; Abby Davenport placed 5 th in Social Media Concepts and 6 th in Career Exploration; Carrina Moreland placed 1 st in Internet Concepts and 2 nd in Computer Concepts; Sarah Grace Holt placed 2 nd in Marketing Concepts and 3 rd in Social Media Concepts; Allison Gibson placed 4 th in Marketing Concepts; Christina Luallen placed 4 th in Business Concepts and 6 th in Computer Concepts; and Abby Richardson placed 4th in Computer Concepts. The Mount Zion Middle FBLA was also recognized as having the 3 rd largest middle level chapter in Region 7 based on the club’s membership-to-school population ratio.
