Central High School Students Recognized by the American Legion

December 14, 2015) Central High School students Wesley Walker and Will Henderson were honored by American Legion Post 143 for attending the Boys State conference this past summer. District 5 Vice-Commander Mr. Steve Fuller and American Legion Post 143 Commander Mr. Wayne Driver presented the students with certificates of achievement.

The American Legion Boys State is among the most respected educational programs of government instruction for high school students. Each participant becomes a part of the operation of his local, county, and state government. High school juniors are selected by local American Legion Posts to attend the all-expense paid week-long event.
