Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols Addresses Central High School Student Leaders

Georgia Public Service Commissioner Mr. Tim Echols recently addressed Central High School class officers and student council members. Mr. Echols detailed how he was inspired by Chick-Fil-A founder Mr. Truett Cathy, while attending North Clayton High School. Mr. Echols stressed setting goals and then striving to reach those goals. Students were able to ask questions about the Public Service Commission, energy plans for Georgia, and how federal laws affect not only business but the individual consumer.

“Mr. Echols challenged our student leaders to go beyond what is expected, both in the classroom and in community service,” said Principal Mr. Jared Griffis. He continued, “Our students commented on how his enthusiasm was contagious and thanked him for taking time from his busy day to meet with them.”
