The Central Middle School football team won the West Georgia Middle School large school championship on Thursday, October 22, 2015. The Lions had an undefeated regular season and won both playoff games en route to the championship. In the championship game CMS defeated Bay Springs Middle School 27-14. The team was led by head coach, BJ Long, and assistant coaches, Mike Striplin, Jeremy Fountain, Scott Smith, and Jarrett Thomas.
