Apple Award Winner For Leadership Employee of the Month

Carroll County Schools recognized its June 2015 Apple Award Winner at the board meeting on June 18, 2015. Receiving the award for Leadership Employee of the Month was Mrs. Cherri LeBlanc, Principal at Roopville Elementary School. Mrs. LeBlanc was nominated by several of the faculty and staff at Roopville Elementary School stating she is a supportive and responsive principal who makes herself constantly available to students, staff and parents. Ms. LeBlanc fosters a caring and inviting school climate that allows both staff and children to put learning at the center of their daily activities.

In addition, Mrs. LeBlanc sets high expectations for achievement and promotes a school community conducive to maximizing student learning. She is a compassionate leader who exemplifies putting the students first in all that she does.

Mrs. LeBlanc was honored with the system Apple Award plaque, a goody bag and a plant from Mountain Oak Florist, a business partner for Carroll County Schools.
