Bowdon High Student Receives Student-Athlete Scholarship

Bowdon High School student, Brandon Beasley, was one of 22 high school football players across the state of Georgia awarded a Student-Athlete Scholarship by the Touchdown Club of Atlanta. The Touchdown Club of Atlanta – National Football Foundation sponsored this scholarship and celebratory banquet. The TCA-NFF annually recognizes high school football players of the highest academic achievement in the state of Georgia. This year’s scholarship banquet featured ESPN’s college football personality Lee Corso as the keynote speaker.

The TCA-NFF Club is in its 77 th year of supporting high school and college football. The Touchdown Club of Atlanta is the 2 nd oldest independent touchdown club in the country. In addition to scholarships and the national Bobby Dodd Awards, the TCA-NFF presents numerous awards to high school football players on an annual basis.

Upon graduation from Bowdon High School, Brandon plans to attend Kennesaw State University.
