Temple Middle School Band Receives Superior Ratings

The Temple Middle School Band received all “Superior" ratings for their onstage and sight reading performances at the Georgia Music Educators Association's Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE). The evaluation was held on March 18th at Woodland High School in Cartersville. The Temple Middle School Band, directed by Patti Martin, performed three pieces: "Blalock Canyon March" by Steve Hodges, "Colliding Visions" by Brian Balmages, and "Ash Lawn Echoes" by Robert W. Smith.

The band will perform their LGPE program along with other selections at the Third Annual Tiger Pride Music Festival. The festival will be held at the AMP in downtown Carrollton on May 5, 2015.
