Bowdon High School Band Earns Superior Ratings

The Bowdon High School Band participated in the Georgia Music Educators Association Large Group Performance Evaluation at Woodland High School Cartersville on Thursday March 12. The band earned the highest possible rating of Superior for their stage performance. The band also earned a Superior rating in the Sight-Reading portion of the evaluation.

Selections performed included: Plains West March –William Owens, Blue Lake Reflections – Ed Huckeby, and Critical Mass –Todd Stalter. Bowdon Bands are Directed by Jimmy Mauney and student teacher Taylor Moore.
