Villa Rica High School Decathlon Team Wins Silver in State

The Villa Rica High School Academic Decathlon Team won the silver award at the State Decathlon meet. The team will be representing Georgia in the online large school national competition. Individual medals were:

● Bethany Davison: Bronze in Social Science, Gold in Music, Silver in Economics, Silver in Language and Literature, and Silver overall.

● David Brooks: Bronze in mathematics

● Wyatt Johnson: Bronze in Art, Bronze in mathematics, Bronze in SuperQuiz, silver in language and literature, silver in music, Gold overall.

● Jacob Hall: Bronze in Super Quiz, Gold in Science.

● Noah Drake: Bronze in Prepared Speech, Gold in Speech, Silver in Impromptu Speech, Silver Speech Overall.

● James Hamilton: Gold in Impromptu Speech, Bronze in Language and Literature, Bronze in SuperQuiz, Silver Economics, Silver Prepared Speech, Silver Speech overall, and Silver overall

● Dawn Hall: Bronze in mathematics, Bronze in prepared speech, Silver in Language and Literature, and Bronze in SuperQuiz

● Demarcus: Bronze in SuperQuiz.

● Katie Moss came in 4th in SuperQuiz and Language and Literature.
