Villa Rica High School Senior Signs Letter of Intent with Truett-McConnell College

Villa Rica High School senior Brock Love has signed a Letter of Intent to continue his soccer career with Truett-McConnell College. Love, a four-year starter for the Wildcats, was also recruited by Andrew College and Shorter University before signing with the Bears out of Cleveland, Georgia. On the field, he has played both midfield and defender for the Wildcats. Brock was named “Freshman of the Year” during his first season with the team, and as a junior, recorded 2 goals and 5 assists, in addition to playing outstanding defense, to help the Wildcats to 10 wins and their first state playoff appearance in 15 years. Brock enters his senior season as a team captain and hopes to lead the team to a top 2 finish in the region and the chance to host a state playoff game for the first time in school history. Brock has also played club soccer for several years for Southern Soccer Academy and Coach Dan Quigley, having served as team captain for his club team as well.
