Villa Rica High School Student Signs Letter of Intent with Albany State University

Villa Rica High School senior Jonathan McKellar has signed a Letter of Intent to continue his football career with Albany State University. McKellar, a two-year starter for the Wildcats, also received offers from Benedict College and Fort Valley State University before signing with the Golden Rams out of Albany, Ga. An honor student, McKellar has lettered three years in football and has participated in various community service events. â€‹On the gridiron, Jonathan was named All-Region 5-AAAAA Honorable Mention and First Team All-Area his senior year. He was also selected to play in the Georgia Northwest All Star Senior Bowl and Offense-Defense All American Bowl. In the classroom, Jonathan maintains a 3.5 GPA, received the Scholar Athlete Award and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. Jonathan plans to major in Business or Computer Science.
