Carroll County Schools Hosts ESOL Parent's Testing Night

The ESOL Department of Carroll County Schools hosted an ESOL Parent’s Testing Night on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Carroll County Board of Education. Parents were provided information about local assessments, the new Georgia Milestones, and the ACCESS for ELLs. The next ESOL Parent Outreach will focus on literacy (reading and writing) and is scheduled for February 26, 2015. A special thanks goes out to Ms. Erin Ortiz and Mrs. Michelle Arana for translating/interpreting the information into Spanish and to Mrs. Rachel Herman for providing professional learning for the parents on how to use Google Translate.
