Central Middle School's Wrestling Team Wins West Georgia Middle School Championship

The Central Middle School Wrestling team capped off a stellar season by capturing the West Georgia Middle School Championship Saturday at Central Middle School. The team edged out Carrollton for the championship with Bremen placing third. The final team score had Central tallying 237 points to Carrollton's 222 points.

The Lions were lead by first place finishers CJ Shadinger at 84 lbs, Sam Conerly at 128 lbs, JC Higgins at 160, and Ethan Lee at 230. CJ Shadinger was also awarded the Most Outstanding Wrestler Award. Coach Duffey would like to thank everyone that volunteered their time throughout the season to help make the season a success.
