Mt. Zion Eagles Wrestling Team Wins 2nd Place at State Tournament

At the Class A State Duals tournament, the Mt. Zion wrestling team finished a historic duals season by finishing 2 nd in state. After winning the Area 3A Duals championship this year, the Eagles advanced to the State Elite 8 for the fifth consecutive year. The Eagle wrestlers defeated St. Francis 48-27 in the first round of the tournament before defeating Turner County 41-36 to clinch a spot in Saturday’s finals. The Eagles record this season is 32-2.
