Central High School senior John Jones has been accepted into Vanderbilt University for the fall 2015 semester. John is part of the QuestBridge program. The QuestBridge College Match Scholarship Program is for high school seniors across the country who show exceptional academic potential. The program is now in its 11th season and has successfully linked over 3,000 highachieving, low income students with admission and full scholarships to QuestBridge partner colleges since 2003.

Jared Griffis, Central High School principal stated, “We are extremely proud of John Jones for his accomplishments as a Central High School student. I had no doubt that John would receive several scholarship offers from top universities. John has been an outstanding student while attending Central High School. Receiving a full academic scholarship to Vanderbilt University is a tremendous accomplishment and celebration. Expect great things from this young man in the future.”

John plans to study nanotechnology and engineering at Vanderbilt.
