Villa Rica Middle School Hosts 1st Annual Villa Rica Cluster Community Closet

Villa Rica Middle School (VRMS) hosted the First Annual VR Cluster Community Closet on Saturday, November 15, 2014. With the help of several Villa Rica Cluster Schools, VRMS parents, VRMS Staff, VRMS Business Partners, the Junior Beta Club, the Future Business Leaders of America Club, and the Builder’s Club much needed clothing was provided to hundreds of Carroll County Residents. The event was designed to help ease families’ financial burdens during the holiday season. Between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM families from all around the county came to the VRMS cafeteria and collected gently used clothing at no cost. There were moments throughout the morning when the cafeteria resembled a clothing chain and not a school cafeteria. The RaceTrack Gas Company provided coffee and pastries during the event. The event was a huge success.
