Villa Rica High School Wildcat Marching Band Wins Class AAA Championship

The Wildcat Marching Band won the Class AAA Championship at the Peach State Marching Band Competition on Saturday, October 25th. This is the second Class AAA championship this season for the Marching Wildcats. The band also received all Superior ratings in Band, Drumline, Colorguard, and Drum Major. This is the twelfth consecutive competition over a four-year period that the band has received the highest marks. The Drumline received the Silver Medal while Drum Major Alexis Lowery was named the 1st Place Drum Major for the third contest in a row. This contest ends the marching band's competitive season for this year. This year's hard-working marching band was one of the school's best ever, winning 22 1st Place and Superior trophies at three contests.
