Villa Rica Middle School Teacher Participates in 2014 SMITE

Suzette Fulks, teacher at Villa Rica Middle School, was selected to participate in the 2014 Science and Math Institute for Teacher Education (SMITE) at the University of West Georgia this summer. The class consisted of ten days of intensive training covering matter and energy along with interdisciplinary mathematics instruction. The purpose of this institute is to enhance the teaching skills of K-12 educators in the areas of math and science in order to increase student interest and achievement.
