Bowdon Elementary School Teachers Participate in 2014 SMITE

Six Bowdon Elementary School teachers were selected to participate in the 2014 SMITE (Science and Math Institute for Teacher Education) Institute at the University of West Georgia. The class consisted of 10 days of training covering energy with subtopics and mathematics content exploration. This learning experience enhanced teaching skills in these content areas, which ultimately impacts student learning. The teachers participating were: Jamie Martin, Rana Raughton, Kristy Cummings, Rebekah Phillips, Kelly Christopher, and Nikki Ethridge.
