Southeastrans, Inc. Donates iPads to Ithica Elementary School

Southeastrans, Inc. has partnered with Ithica Elementary in its efforts to obtain Georgia STEM School Certification. As part of their commitment towards this goal, Southeastrans, Inc. donated 20 refurbished iPads to the third grade science class.

Southeastrans, Inc., a sister company to West Georgia Ambulance, is locally owned by Steve Adams. Southeastrans, Inc. is a transportation management company specializing in efficient and innovative delivery of human transportation services. Utilizing transportation brokerage concepts and methodologies, they contract with state and local agencies to manage government-sponsored transportation programs where controlling costs and ensuring consistent quality are critical performance requirements.

The Chief Financial Officer for Southeastrans, and University of West Georgia Foundation board member, said “I too am passionate about an educational curriculum that is driven by problem solving, discovery, exploratory learning, and student-centered development of ideas and solutions. Thank you for the opportunity to make this contribution. We look forward to a continued partnership with the Carroll County School System and Ithica Elementary School.”
