Bowdon FFA Junior Forestry Team Place at the Area I Forestry Career Development Event

The Bowdon FFA Junior Forestry team placed 2nd at the Area I Forestry Career Development Event held at Taylor’s Farm in Taylorsville, GA. The team of Drew Duffie and Devin Rogers placed 1st in Timber Management. Karlie White won 2nd place in Timber Cruising for Cord Volume. Winning 2nd place in the event of Land Measurement was Cassidy Brown. While, DJ Blackwelder placed 1st in Saw Timber Estimation. Other contest participants were Jessica Daniel, Jake Cobb, Devin Bentley and Nickolas Britt.
