Carroll County Schools recognized its April 2014 Apple Award Winner at the board meeting on April 17, 2014. Receiving the award for Student Service Employee of the Month was Ms. Tara Quinn, Social Worker serving CHS, BES, BMS, BHS, GOAL and The College and Career Academy. Tara was nominated by several employees for her diligent behind the scene work as an advocate, educator and student representative. Her love for all children in our school system is evident by the effort and time she devotes to her job as a social worker. Her rapport with the students and their families engages them to become active in education and successful away from school. She is very creative in locating resources for families in need and works tirelessly to make sure that every student in need has what they need to succeed. She exemplifies the definition of excellent service to all students in the Carroll County School System.

Ms. Quinn was honored with the system Apple Award plaque, a goody bag and a plant from Mountain Oak Florist, a business partner for Carroll County Schools.
