Mr. Griffis’ educational credentials include his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, Masters Degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham, and Educational Specialist Degree from the University of West Georgia.

"I am excited to be joining the Central High School family,” Mr. Griffis said. “As principal of Whitesburg Elementary, I have been a part of the Central cluster and have experienced first hand the pride and passion of Central High's students, teachers, parents and community.  I look forward to joining with these stakeholders to continue to make Central High School the best it can be.  Carroll County expects premier schools and we will work towards making sure Central High School provides premier experiences for all of our students."
