Bowdon FFA Senior Forestry Team Places 1st at the Floyd County Young Farmers Forestry Field Day

The Bowdon FFA Senior Forestry team placed 1st at the Floyd County Young Farmers Forestry Field Day. Winning 1st place in Timber Management was Blake Wilkinson and Addison Jordan. Winning 1st place in Hand Compass Practicum was Kourtney Gann. Winning 1st place in Timber Cruising for Board Foot Volume was Derrick Dyer. Natalie Brown placed 1st in Forestry Insects and Diseases. Ivana Abundis placed 2nd in Forestry Insects and Diseases. Winning 1st place in tree I.D., Erik Lovvorn. Heather Blackwelder placed 2nd in the event of Land Measurement. Winning 1st place in Timber Stand Improvement was Maigan Morris. Noah Morgan was awarded 1st place in Ocular Estimation. Other
contest participants were Colt Crews, JonTaylor Ethridge, and Randy Githens.
