Carroll County Career Academy HOSA State Winners

Carroll County Career Academy has once again shown the quality of their programs as the healthcare students competed in HOSA’s state competition in Athens, GA. The success of the program was evident in number of students that took top spots in several areas. Students in this extracurricular club are from all five high schools in the county and the 12 for Life Program. Their participation in this extra-curricular club shows their devotion and determination by not only studying during Healthcare class but by also coming after school 2 days a week to prepare. These students were recognized in the following areas:


1st place Medical Reading – Kelly Caviness
1st place EMT- Morgan Sealock and William Meade
2nd place Public Health- Brooke Carroll, Ciera Lewis, Silvey Rosser, Hayley Bayne
2nd place Medical Spelling- Jamielee Korolovich
2nd place Life Support Skills- Jessica Parker


Current Healthcare Issues exam placed in the top 53 of state - John Williams, Ethan Milam and
Jamielee Korolovich.
