Central High School Student Wins the Cattlemen's Beef Scholarship Challenge

Logan Steed recently participated in a team event with the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association. The competition had ten (10) challenge events. Challenge areas included reproduction, marketing, meat identification, credit and finance of a cattle farm, nutrition, and herd health. Contestants were asked to supply a resume and cover letter and participate in a job interview. After successfully completing each area Logan and her team were awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
