Bowdon High School Wins First Place At The West Georgia Technology Fair

On January 24, 2014, Bowdon High School sent Sam Jenkins and Daniel Cater to the West Georgia Technology Fair for competition. Sam Jenkins won first place in Animated Computer Graphics grades 11-12. Sam Jenkins and Daniel Cater won first place in Robotics grades 11-12.

The West Georgia Technology Fair is an annual technology competition for students in the West Georgia Region of the state of Georgia. The West Georgia region includes students who attend public schools, private schools, and home-schools in Carroll County, Carrollton City, Coweta County, Harris County, Heard County, Meriwether County, and Troup County.

Both Sam and Daniel are now eligible to take their projects to the Georgia State Educational Technology Fair to be held at Macon State College on March 8, 2014.
