Carroll County Schools Prepare For AdvancEd External Review Visit

The Carroll County School District is preparing for its Five Year AdvancEd Accreditation Review. The visit will begin with the External Review Team's arrival Sunday afternoon and go through the Exit Report Wednesday at 2:00 in the board room. During the visit the External Review Team will interview board members, administrators, teachers, students, parents and community members about the state of the school district. Additionally, the team will visit classrooms, look at performance data and review evidence of district progress.

The purpose of the accreditation process is to help school district's focus on continuous improvement and growth. The review team will identify areas of strength and areas for improvement. The school district will use the commendations and recommendations from the review team to adjust its strategic improvement plan to help schools focus on graduating students who are college and career ready.
