Central High School Student Signs With Western Carolina

Sherae Bonner signed a letter of intent with Western Carolina University to play basketball during the upcoming 2014-2015 season. Sherae was awarded a full scholarship and is looking forward to her career with the Catamounts.

Sherae plays forward and has earned many accolades for herself and Central High School throughout her high school career. Playing varsity all four years Sherae was named MVP during her 9th and 11th grade years as well as earning an academic letter each year. The Times-Georgian named her Player of the Year in 2011 and she was a member of the All-Area Team in 2013. Bonner was the Wendy’s Heisman High School nominee for Central High School in 2013 and was named Region Player of the Year.

Sherae plans to earn a degree in medicine while attending Western Carolina University.
