State Superintendent Dr. John Barge Visits Roopville Elementary School

State school Superintendent John Barge visited Roopville Elementary School Thursday, January 23, 2014, as the guest speaker for the school’s PTO meeting. Dr. Barge addressed the students, parents and faculty about the achievements of Roopville Elementary School as it compares with surrounding schools and the state.

Roopville Elementary was recognized as a 2011 and 2012 Georgia School of Excellence in Student Achievement. The award is given to schools that show the highest performance orhighest progress in the state based on College and Career Ready Performance Index scores.
