2013 Apple Award Winner For Paraprofessional of the Month

Carroll County Schools recognized its January 2014 Apple Award Winner at the board meeting on January 16, 2014. Receiving the award for Paraprofessional of the Month was Mrs. Patricia Carr Tyson, Paraprofessional from Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School. Ms. Tyson's colleagues stated that she is a joy to work with, loves and cares for all students, not just the ones in her classroom. She always smiles and is positive in every situation, and her willingness to do whatever task needed is a great asset to her school and faculty. In addition, she works tutoring students, works with students with special needs, works as a lunchroom monitor and in the After-School program.

Mrs. Tyson was honored with the system Apple Award plaque, a goody bag and a plant from Mountain Oak Florist, a business partner for Carroll County Schools.
