Central High School Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

On January 14, 2014 Central High School celebrated the grand opening of its newest building addition with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony. Board of Education members, administrative leaders, community members, business partners, Chamber of Commerce members, and students participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony. The ribbon cutting took place in the atrium of the new entrance to Central High School.

Students from clubs and organizations helped with event logistics and gave tours to guests. Future Business Leaders of America students operated the new School Store located just inside the main entrance. Central High School Principal, Dr. Dana Harman, recognized Southern A&E for the beautiful architectural design and J&R Construction for making that design a reality. The building addition was completed in time for students to begin taking classes in the new rooms for the first day of school in August 2013.

In addition, Dr. Harman thanked both community and school leaders for their unwavering support and commitment to our schools, our students and our future.
