Georgia Music Educators Association District 7 Honor Band

On Saturday, December 7, auditions were held for the Georgia Music Educators Association District 7 Honor Band. Students must work very hard to prepare a difficult audition that includes scales, a prepared piece and a sight-reading exercise. Five students from Temple Middle School earned a place in this prestigious band: 8th graders Rachel Breaux, flute; Sarah Helton, clarinet; Adam English, saxophone; AJ Taryla, tuba; and 7th grader Daniel Dymond, trombone.
