2013 Apple Award Winner For Support Personnel of the Month

Carroll County Schools recognized its November 2013 Apple Award Winner at the board meeting on November 21, 2013. Receiving the award for Support Personnel of the Month was Mrs. Linda Stooksbury, Secretary from Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School. The nominations described Mrs. Stooksbury as a wonderful asset to Glanton-Hindsman. Nominees recall her always arriving earlier to work than her regular scheduled time, being knowledgeable, going out of the way to offer assistance, continuously going above and beyond her duties to ensure the school is operating without any problems. Mrs. Stooksbury wears many hats in the building, from bookkeeper, to nurse, janitor and even landscaper while doing it all with a smile. Mrs. Stooksbury was honored with the system Apple Award plaque, a goody bag and a plant from Mountain Oak Florist, a business partner for Carroll County Schools. Congratulations Mrs. Linda Stooksbury!
