State School Superintendent Dr. John D. Barge Visits Carroll County School District

On November 1, 2013, Georgia School Superintendent Dr. John Barge visited Carroll County Schools. District leaders met with Dr. Barge to review highlights from Carroll County Schools and then Dr. Barge visited the College and Career Academy.

During the visit to the Carroll County College and Career Academy Dr. Barge visited classrooms and spent time with students and teachers. Dr. Barge was complimentary of what he witnessed in classrooms and the programs offered at the College Career Academy. Dr. Barge stated, “Carroll County has done a great job of working with the local community to pick programs for the College and Career Academy. Students select program pathways that are targeted to career opportunities and pursue these pathways in a state of the art setting.”
