Central High School Media Center Receives $1000 Grant from Walmart

Central High School’s Media Center received a $1,000 grant from Walmart. The purpose of the grant is to purchase eBooks and add to the media center’s current selection of electronic materials. Central students were thrilled with the news and excited about having more eBook choices for reading. Media Specialist Linda Morris has asked students to make suggestions for the upcoming purchase of eBooks.

“The interest in adding books to our collection has been fantastic,” stated Ms. Morris. She continued, “Students who don’t normally frequent the media center have taken an interest in our collections and in helping choose eBook titles to purchase. I love having students frequent our media center and enjoy reading!”
