Carroll County Graduation Framework

One of the major goals of the Carroll County School System is to graduate students on time with the skills they need to be successful in college or a career. To meet this goal the Carroll County School System has instituted a Graduation Framework Initiative to improve communications with students and parents on the different paths to graduation offered by Carroll County Schools. The information provided by the Graduation Framework Initiative will be an essential tool to help students and parents with the important decisions around pathways to graduation and beyond.

The Carroll County Schools Graduation Framework includes a visual diagram of student paths to graduation from elementary to high school. The Graduation Framework is explained in a brochure that outlines all of the pathways and alternatives from which students can choose as they move towards graduation. Additionally, the Graduation Framework information is coordinated with the Carroll County Navigator document that outlines graduation requirements for each incoming ninth grade class.

The Graduation Framework information can be accessed from the Carroll County Schools website under either the student or parent icons. The school system is distributing the brochure to and holding advisement sessions for middle and high school students. The Graduation Framework information is also available in each school guidance office.
