Carroll County Enrollment Numbers Increase

Superintendent Scott K. Cowart announced that there has been an increase in student enrollment since last year. According to counts by the Carroll County School District, on the day ten enrollment count there were 14,444 students enrolled in PK-12. This is an increase of 229 students over the 2012-13 enrollment. This is a 1.6% increase over last year and comes on the heels of a positive trend in academic improvement and stakeholder engagement.

“Every one of the 14,444 students in our system deserves the very best,” said Superintendent Scott K. Cowart. “As we continue our efforts to improve education in Carroll County, we have to keep in mind that these numbers represent individual kids with promise and potential, and it is our job to help them realize that potential.”
